Cookies

We use “cookies” to facilitate the use of our website. Cookies are small text files that your browser can place on your computer’s hard drive and are helpful for using our website. We use cookies to better understand how our website is used and to enable improved navigation. Cookies also enable us to recognize whether you have visited our website before or whether you are a new visitor. Cookies, which we use, do not store your personal data. If you do not wish to receive cookies, please set your Internet browser accordingly.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc, (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Use of the service includes the Universal Analytics mode. Sessions, interactions and data can be assigned to a pseudonymous user ID across multiple devices and thus the activities of a user can be analyzed across devices. It also produces Google Analytics reports on demographic characteristics that use data from Google’s interest-based advertising and visitor data from third parties (e.g. age, gender and interests). This data cannot be traced back to a specific person and can be deactivated at any time via the display settings.

Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google will reduce your IP address within Member States of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website and Internet use. This is also where our legitimate interest in data processing lies. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics can be found in § 15 Para. 3 TMG and Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Sessions and campaigns are terminated after a certain period of time. By default, sessions are closed after 30 minutes without activity and campaigns after six months. The time limit for campaigns may not exceed two years.

Data sent by us and linked to user IDs, advertising IDs or cookies are automatically deleted after 14 months. Data whose retention period has been reached is automatically deleted once a month.

Further information on the terms of use and data protection can be found at https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html bzw. policies.google.com.

You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

You can prevent the collection by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link. An opt-out cookie is set to prevent future collection of your data when you visit this website:

Google Analytics is enabled Disable now

For more information on Terms of Use and Privacy please visit google.com/analytics/terms/en.html or google.de/intl/en/policies. Please note that the code “gat._anonymizeIp();” has been added to Google Analytics on this website to ensure anonymous collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). We also use Google Analytics to evaluate data from AdWords and the double-click cookie for statistical purposes. If you don’t want this, you can disable it from the Ads Preferences Manager[google.com/settings/ads/onweb/?hl=en ].

Google Remarketing

We use the remarketing technology of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; “Google”). This technology enables users who have already visited our website and online services and are interested in the offer to be addressed again through targeted advertising on the pages of the Google Partner Network. The insertion of the advertisement takes place via the use of cookies. These are small text files that are stored on the user’s computer. The text files can be used to analyse user behaviour when visiting the website and can then be used for targeted product recommendations and interest-based advertising.

If you do not wish to receive interest-based advertising, you can disable Google’s use of cookies for these purposes by visiting https://www.google.de/settings/ads/onweb

Google Tag Manager

We use on our website “Google Tag Manager”, provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter referred to as: “Google”). The Google Tag Manager allows us to manage web page tags from a single interface. The tool Google Tag Manager, which implements the corresponding tags, is a cookie-free domain and does not collect any personal data itself. Google Tag Manager triggers other tags that may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If deactivated at the domain or cookie level, it will remain in effect for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.

Google has submitted to and certified the Privacy Shield Agreement concluded between the European Union and the USA. As a result, Google undertakes to comply with standards and regulations of European data protection law. With your consent to our data protection declaration you agree that we collect, process and use your above-mentioned data for the purpose of identifying and preventing misuse. In particular, your consent includes the possibility that you may be recognized on further visits to our website in order to automatically check whether there are any indications of misuse of our website. Your online profile data will be processed by ETU Rohr GmbH used exclusively to detect and prevent misuse (fraud prevention).

This consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future. By telephone under: +49 (0) 271 / 31 79 90 — 0 or by e‑mail: info[at]etu-tubes.com. This information is required for security reasons.

Hotjar

To improve the user experience on our website, we use Hotjar[hotjar.com , 3 Lyons Range, 20 Bisazza Street, Sliema SLM 1640, Malta, Europe] Software. Using Hotjar we can measure and evaluate user behaviour (mouse movements, clicks, scroll height etc.) on our Internet pages. For this purpose Hotjar uses cookies on the user’s end devices and can store data from users such as browser information, operating system, time spent on the site etc. in anonymized form. You can prevent this data processing by Hotjar by deactivating the use of cookies in your web browser settings and deleting cookies that are already active. YouTube Plugin

Our website contains at least one plugin from the service YouTube, belonging to Google Inc. located in San Bruno/California, USA. A connection to YouTube’s servers is automatically established when you visit a subpage of our website that contains a YouTube plugin. So YouTube can evaluate which pages of our website you have visited. If you are also logged in with your YouTube account, YouTube can associate your browsing habits with your profile. You can prevent this if you log out of your YouTube account before visiting our website. For more information about YouTube’s collection and use of your information, please visit www.youtube.com.

Vimeo

Our website includes functions of the Vimeo service. These features are provided by Vimeo, LLC 555 West 18th Street New York, New York 10011, see Vimeo’s (vimeo.com/privacy) privacy policy for more information.

Mailchimp

On our website we use the services of MailChimp for sending newsletters. The provider is Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

MailChimp is a service through which the sending of newsletters can be organized and analyzed. If you enter data to receive the newsletter (e.g. e‑mail address), these will then be stored on the servers of MailChimp in the USA.

MailChimp is certified according to the “EU-US-Privacy-Shield”. The “Privacy Shield” is an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the USA to ensure compliance with European data protection standards in the USA.

Through the service MailChimp we can analyse our newsletter campaigns. When you open an email sent to you via mailchimp, a file contained in the email (web beacon) connects to the MailChimp servers in the USA. This allows you to see whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links have been clicked in it. Furthermore, technical information is recorded (e.g. time of retrieval, IP address, browser type and operating system). This information cannot be assigned to the respective newsletter recipient. They are only used for statistical analyses of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of the recipients.

You must unsubscribe from the newsletter if you do not want MailChimp to be able to analyze your behavior. For this purpose, we also send the corresponding link in every newsletter message. You can also cancel the newsletter directly on the website.

The data will be processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can cancel your subscription at any time by cancelling the newsletter. The legality of the data processing processes already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

We store your data which you have provided to us for the purpose of subscribing to our newsletter until you unsubscribe from our newsletter. After the cancellation the data l will be deleted from our servers and from the servers of MailChimp. Data stored by us for other purposes (e.g. e‑mail addresses for the member area) remain unaffected by this.

Further details can be found in the data protection regulations of MailChimp at:  https://mailchimp.com/legal/terms/.

Google Web Fonts

For a uniform representation of fonts we use web fonts on our website. These are provided by Google. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required Web fonts into your browser cache so that texts and fonts are displayed correctly.

To do this, the browser you are using must connect to Google’s servers. Google becomes aware that our website has been visited via your IP address. We use Google Web Fonts for the uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font is used by your computer.

Further information about Google Web Fonts can be found at developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq und in der Datenschutzerklärung von Google: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Google Maps

Using an API we use the map service Google Maps from Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

It is necessary to save your IP address to use the features of Google Maps. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. As the provider of this website, we have no influence on this data transmission.

We make use of Google Maps to ensure an appealing presentation of our online offers and an easy location of the places we have indicated on the website. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Mehr Informationen zum Umgang mit Nutzerdaten finden Sie in der Datenschutzerklärung von Google: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

Google ReCAPTCHA

We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on our websites. Provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).

The purpose of this service is to check whether the data input on our websites (e.g. in a contact form) is carried out by a person or by an automated program. For this the behavior of website visitors is analyzed by reCAPTCHA on the basis of different characteristics. This analysis starts automatically when the website visitor visits the website. For the analysis reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. the time the website visitor stays on the website, the IP address or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is then forwarded to Google.

Website visitors are not separately informed that the reCAPTCHA analyses are running in the background.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. We as website operators have a justified interest in protecting our web offers from abusive automated spying and from SPAM.

Further information about Google reCAPTCHA and Google’s privacy policy can be found at:  https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/ und https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/android.html.
